Online Banking & Bill Pay

The letter you received in the mail includes important information about times during the merger when these services will be temporarily unavailable.

We encourage you to print your transaction history before the merger. After that, you may not have online access to your Merchants Bank history.

You are welcome to enjoy free online banking, which enables you to review your account history, check your balances, transfer funds, make payments and manage your accounts online.


Online Bill Pay

If you currently have Bill Pay, we’ll convert your merchants, scheduled payments and automatic recurring payments for you. Please see the letter we sent you for additional information.

We encourage you to print out your list of merchants and scheduled payments prior to the merger, and be sure to review the information the first time you log in after the merger.

Please note: After the merger, the cut-off time for same-day bill payments will be 3:00 p.m.

If you use Quicken or Quickbooks, you’ll need to download your transactions to your software prior to the merger. Visit our website for more complete instructions.

If you don’t currently use online banking services, we’ll be happy to help you sign up quickly and easily for free online banking and bill pay with Community Bank, N.A. after the merger.


Business Online

If you have Merchants Corporate Online Banking, your account will convert to our Business Online. This full-service cash management solution is a powerful yet flexible way to meet your needs now and grow with your business in the future. If your online services will be converted to Business Online, you’ll receive a separate letter prior to the conversion with full details on these services. Charges may apply for Business Online and business bill pay. Contact the Community Bank, N.A. Electronic Banking help desk for more details.

Our Electronic Banking help desk is available to assist you during the merger. Beginning May 15, our Electronic Banking help desk will be available to assist you from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends and holidays. Simply call 1-866-764-8638. Please note that starting July 1, we will revert to standard operating hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.


Online banking login steps for current users

Beginning the morning of Monday, May 15, please follow these steps the first time you login to Community Bank, N.A. online banking:

  1. Visit and enter your existing Merchants Bank user ID in the login box, then click “GO.” (Figure 1)
  2. Please enter your Tax ID number or the last four digits of your Social Security as your temporary password for your initial login. (Figure 2)
  3. Once you log in, you’ll have the option to change your user ID and you’ll be prompted to change your password. Be sure to enter your Tax ID number or the last four digits of your Social Security as your “current password,” then follow the prompts to complete your enrollment. (Figure 3)

You will receive a separate mailing with reminder login instructions.
